Project Marwian

This project comprises nine principal process machines that previously formed part of an integrated production line operated by Marwian GmbH.

The equipment was used in the production and processing of Xliquid®, a water-soluble, polymeric guanidine-based biocidal active substance developed by Marwian for disinfectant, preservation, process-water and antimicrobial-material applications..

Scope of the project

The process line includes equipment for reaction, solid-liquid separation, filter-cake handling, drying, pneumatic conveying, air treatment and particle-size reduction. The principal machines include a reactor, an Andritz filter press, a cake discharge conveyor, a Prager drying system, a classifier mill, a big-bag station, an air-separation unit, a blower and a rotary-screw air compressor.

Because these machines previously operated as part of one industrial process, they may be of particular interest to companies active in specialty chemicals, biocides, fine chemicals and other powder-processing applications. Suitability for a new product or industry must be assessed separately based on the intended process, materials, capacity, regulatory requirements and required modifications.

Technical documentation from the former installation may be available. Please contact SSMI for the exact document list, the scope of included peripheral equipment and confirmation of each machine’s current condition. The equipment can be offered as a project package or, where indicated, as individual machines.
