This EVAC valve assembly consists of a 3-inch butterfly valve fitted with a pneumatic quarter-turn actuator and the associated electrical and pneumatic control components. The complete assembly is suitable for automated opening and closing of a process line and is intended for use in industrial piping installations.

The valve identification shown on the manufacturer plate is BVP-3"FB-150#RF-F2-MT70-AFC. The designation indicates a 3-inch valve with a 150# pressure-class marking and RF, or Raised Face, flange specification. The remaining codes are manufacturer-specific configuration references and have been retained as shown on the EVAC nameplate.

The valve is operated by a large pneumatic quarter-turn actuator with an aluminium body and blue end caps. The manufacturer plate specifies 5 safety springs, indicating a spring-assisted actuator arrangement. The maximum stated pneumatic pressure for the unit is 8 bar.

Pneumatic control is provided by an EVAC SOL-EV81 solenoid valve. The nameplate specifies a 3/2 + 5/2 configuration, a G1/4" pneumatic connection and a 24 VDC electrical supply.

The assembly is also fitted with an EVAC SWB-BE48 switch box for valve-position feedback. The switch box is specified with 2 x SPDT switching contacts, 2 x M20 cable entries and an aluminium body. The nameplate also carries the marking EExd-IIC.
