A De Dietrich 910-litre glass/enamel-lined chemical process reactor, manufactured in 1997 in Zinswiller, France. It has a 610 L lower vessel plus 300 L head volume, giving 910 L total capacity, together with a 100 L heating/cooling jacket. The process vessel is rated for full vacuum (-1 bar) to +3 bar, while the jacket is rated to 6 bar. Both are rated from -20 to +200 °C. The unit weighs approximately 1,800 kg. The 3009 U enamel lining provides a corrosion-resistant product-contact surface, making this type of reactor particularly suitable for chemical and pharmaceutical reactions, mixing, dissolution, crystallization, and temperature-controlled processing of corrosive products.
