Ein chemisches Recycling-Scale-up auf dem Brightlands Chemelot Campus in Geleen, eine moderne und weitgehend vollständige Recyclinganlage, die für die Wiederverwendung und den Weiterverkauf zur Verfügung steht.

Umfang des Projekts

Ioniqa entwickelte ein chemisches Recyclingverfahren für PET-Abfälle mit dem Ziel, den Kunststoff wieder in einen Rohstoff in Neuwarequalität (BHET) zu verwandeln. Obwohl die Anlage den kommerziellen Produktionsmaßstab erreicht hatte, hinderten betriebliche Probleme im Zusammenhang mit der Produkthandhabung die nachgeschalteten Anwender letztlich daran, das recycelte Material effektiv zu verarbeiten.

Das SSMI unterstützt den strukturierten Rückbau und die kommerzielle Freigabe der vorhandenen Prozessanlagen.
